The surrounding landscape is mainly agricultural, but offers picturesque corners, which forms the lower reaches of the Jizera and its accompanying greenery. This picturesque landscape has attracted cottagers in the period of the First Republic. So there was founded a picturesque cottage settlement in Acacia valley on the slopes of the Jizera River. When the contruction of the cottages was limited, was founded in Turice popular gardening colony.

Jizera river flowing through the village, is popular for its scenic beauty paddlers. In the summer, the water is clear and refreshing, especially attracts children bathing in the hot summer days.
